I have nothing but good things to say about this location! The staff is friendly, the amenities are top notch, and you constantly see staff cleaning the facility. It is one of my favorite parts of my day when I come to Lifetime! I only have one complaint that is out of LifeTime's control - but would be nice if this could be enforced. The sauna area in the women's locker room is meant to be a quiet space, where people go to relax. I am not sure if there is an age requirement but I feel as though children should not be back there a) because it's hard for them to be quiet, and b) children aren't meant to go inside of saunas/steam areas. Children have been in that specific area jumping around, being loud, and distracting. It bothered me a little bit. Another thing to note is the constant amount of children just in the women's locker room as a whole. Isn't there a perfectly good family locker room for families to go? Especially with strollers/children/lots of stuff etc. The women's locker room can get crowded enough but adding this on top makes it pretty unenjoyable to be in there sometimes. Again, none of this has to do with the staff but it is pretty annoying to be paying a lot of mo

I had a chance to visit Life Time in Charlotte, and I was impressed! The layout is very comparable to the Sandy Springs location in Georgia, so it felt familiar, but this club is on another level when it comes to size. It's huge! There's plenty of space and a wide variety of amenities so it never felt cramped. The facility was clean, well-maintained, and had everything you could need for a great workout. Whether you're there for cardio, weights, swimming, or just to relax, there's something for everyone. If you're a Life Time member traveling through Charlotte, I definitely recommend stopping by this location. It has the same upscale feel as Sandy Springs, just on a much larger scale. I'll definitely be back! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Update 6/9/2026 I am adding a star since the management put up a poster explaining sauna/spa rules. I would be very happy to add another star if I see the rules enforced I have been a member at Life Time Golf Links since 2020, and generally enjoy the facility. The club is beautiful, and that is why this experience was so disappointing. Today I was sitting in the sauna wearing water shoes. A staff member approached me and said that shoes were not allowed. I explained that these were water shoes, not street shoes, and that my understanding of the club rules was that street shoes were prohibited. The employee then insisted that all shoes were forbidden. I informed him that I would discuss the matter with management after my session because I believed he was mistaken about the policy. I also explained that I have a disability and rely on the water shoes to move safely around the spa area. Despite this explanation, he continued demanding that I remove them. The interaction became unnecessarily confrontational and disrupted what was supposed to be a relaxing visit. Afterward, I spoke with the manager, who handled the situation professionally. She reviewed the issue, contacted corpo

We get so much value from our membership as a family of four. It’s about $500 a month, but it’s 100% worth it. The facility is always clean, the classes and gym equipment are excellent, and the instructors are fantastic. Our kids absolutely love Kids Academy, and we really appreciate the Parents’ Night Out events. One of our favorite perks is being able to drop the kids off and enjoy up to three hours to ourselve whether that’s getting a great workout in or just relaxing by the pool together. It’s been such a great investment in both our family time and our personal wellness.
